I'm an Atlanta Falcons fan. My husband & I are season ticket holders and attend all the home games yearly. One day I decided to do something different. The work of a California-based photographer who added fashion-style lighting to street photography inspired me to get out of my comfort zone. I went to The Gulch, a popular tailgating spot, and asked random strangers to have their portraits made. I walked through the parking lots with my camera and lighting equipment and approached groups of fans. I got nervous as I approached them to ask if I could take their picture. A few people looked at me crazy and told me no, but soon people started saying yes. As I kept walking, people would see me taking portraits, so as I approached them, they would get ready to pose. Eventually, no one said no anymore. I heard stories of people meeting at The Gulch and tailgating together for 20 years.
